Java Technical Lead Commerce Tools (Platform) in San Jose, CA | Full-Time/Contract

Role:

• Recent and relevant
  eCommerce and Retail experience.
• At least 10+ years of practical full-time work experience in a similar role
• Having strong experience as a Java/JavaSript Web Developer with diversified exposure to solutioning, analysis, design, development and implementation of web-based/Digital applications.
• Working Knowledge of common programming languages (functional, experienced in Node.js, Angular/React.js)
• Experience in creating, managing scalable microservices or headless implementations.
• Strong hands on working experience in Core Java and JavaEE platform
• Ability to understand the intricacies and challenges of a multi-tenant, API based e-commerce platform built on the newest technologies (CommerceTools/ATG/Custom Microservices Platform)
• Having experience working with database technologies like SQL, No SQL DB, GraphQL, JQuery
• Experience with SEO, Caching, Session state management, Service Authorization, API versioning, Logging and any Content Management System.
• Good Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform/Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Continuous integration with orchestration tools.
• Experience with integrations platform like Mule, Kafka, Etc
• Develop extensions on top of the core services, if required
• Experience with modern cloud architecture and paradigms.
• Fast, as well as continuous, learner.
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills, high reliability team player and a good dose of Pragmatism.
