Senior Systems Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Systems Engineer who is willing to work West Coast hours in Santa Monica, CA.Essential Duties: The position assists the Infrastructure Systems department in designing, installing, configuring, implementing, and supporting all system infrastructure (such as servers, storage, virtualization), providing technical guidance and oversight and acting as a point of escalation Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree preferred Engineer level certifications in one or more of the following; Storage, Virtualization, Server Hardware Systems, Hyper-converged systems 6 - 8 years of experience Ability to work comfortably and troubleshoot issues with the following technologies Hypervisor: VMWare 6.x Server Hardware: Cisco UCS Storage: Pure Storage, NetApp Storage Operating Systems: Windows Server OS Directories: Active Directory, Okta Cloud: AWS, Azure Networks: General knowledge of networking in relation to server systems; DNS, DHCP, IP SubnettingKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
