SSVF Senior Manager

Responsibilities:

Utilize financial information provided by Director to prioritize and direct staffing, resource allocation and objectives.

Initiate and direct changes to increase efficiency and meet objectives.

Manage budget, staff, calendar and facilities to support organizational finance and operation goals per program.

Enforce rules and procedures for auditing, procurement, financial reporting and legal compliance.

Understand and comply with all program contract requirements, including timely and accurate submission of reports.

Coordinate with and build sustaining relationships with external vendors and partners and constantly develop new partnerships.

Support management in ensuring accreditation, maintenance and safety programs are current and accurate.

Participate in local community activities, local and regional government and funder meetings on behalf of HopeSource and remain informed on the affairs of the cities, County, and State and Federal legislatures relative to programs.

Support HR objectives in making suggestions regarding recruitment, training, and appraisal of staff; enforcing policies and procedures.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to network and build relationships internal and external to the organization

Ability to prepare reports and handle written and oral communication with diverse groups

Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks

Ability to work with low-income and disabled clients in a professional and compassionate manner

Certified Family Development Specialist or acquired within one year of employment

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and various other computer software programs

Experience with Veterans Programs strongly preferred
