Job Description

Broadridge is growing!We are currently hiring an Automation Engineer! As part of this team you will develop and maintain test cases, while collaborating with Quality Assurance Analysts. We are seeking someone who brings experience in test automation and will bring experience working in agile environments.

Responsibilities:

  • This person will develop test cases using IntelliJ IDEA and other computer software tools derived from the master test scripts provided by the QA Analysts for new design functionality and changes to existing functionality
  • Successful candidate will be maintaining and executing test cases, using Selenium’s playback tool, manually preparing them for nightly execution through Jenkins
  • You'll provide estimates for testing efforts in agile environment within a highly dynamic team
  • You will review test cases QA Analysts and communicate accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • 2+ years experience working in Agile environments as a Software Engineer
  • Experience with JIRA (requirements, defects, test cases, Epics)
  • Good functional testing skills

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in test automation using Selenium and Jenkins in DevOps
  • Experience with IntelliJ or other Java related development computer software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of VBScript, Java, HTML, and SQL
  • Understanding of APIs
  • Experience using GIT, SVN or other Version Control
  • Familiarity with JBehave framework for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) approach and Serenity framework is a huge advantage
  • Familiarity with Automated browser testing for a web products (website/web application) using Selenium WebDriver
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills
