Major Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will assist in expanding the environmental programs to

elevate environmental compliance to support the Environmental, Health, and

Safety Pillar. Be able to work in a facepaced environment. The individual will

update environmental training programs, as well as track the status of various

environmental and sustainability metrics and initiatives. Since safety is

paramount in an industrial environment, must be able to maintain a safe work

environment for not only themselves, but those around them as well. The

individual will be a temporary employee in a non-exempt role.

Roles:

Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a science field strongly preferred

At least one year experienced in Industrial setting or equivalent

Able to interpret Federal, State, and County requirements as it relates to industrial operations

Experience with maintaining computer applications

Able to review and update training programs (e.g., Alchemy Creator Experience Desired)

Track environmental metrics Required Skills:

Works well with others and independently when assigned tasks

Must be a self-starter and stay busy with constructive work with little supervision

Possess strong organizational skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to draft a technical report or letter

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Able to analyze data, identify deficiencies, and communicate findings with supervisor

Must have an understanding of key industrial safety requirements Physical Demands:

May be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

This role may include the following: siting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, or climbing

Food manufacturing environment can be loud and hot working conditions
