Uber's Engineering Enablement team is a strategic, cross-functional team focused on increasing engineering impact and productivity in our always evolving, highly dynamic organization. We are looking for a program manager to help coordinate and scale global engineering leadership development programs, as well as other engineering enablement programs as they arise. This role resides in the Engineering department and enables future engineering leaders to grow the skills they need to accomplish Uber's mission. What You'll Do

  • Own portions of the engineering leadership development programs end-to-end (needs analysis, defining scope, resource planning, launch, execution, management, program evaluations) in partnership with other program managers in support of engineering leaders and stakeholders
  • Coordinate program enrollments and logistics, communicating as the encouraging point of contact for participants
  • Measure, analyze, improve, and evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency through strategy, metrics, and experimentation
  • Build and maintain relationships across the engineering organization to identify problems while scoping and driving collaboration on solutions in a quickly changing environment
  • Find new ways to optimize learning, like turning appropriate live sessions into self-paced online learning
  • Manage vendor relationships for training and content solutions as needed
  • Give presentations about program content, progress, and effectiveness to stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience creating or implementing technical solutions to improve program efficiency
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience crafting and delivering effective written communication to a broad audience
  • Experience analyzing survey and attendance data to inform decision making
  • Experience supporting large and multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background managing program logistics in engineering or technical organizations
  • Experience working with leadership or culture related programs/frameworks
  • Experience delivering technical learning content to engineering audiences
  • Experience automating and scaling programs and processes
  • Experience with Google Suite, Confluence, LMSes, or other content creation tools
