The Business Analyst's role is to research, analyze, specify and validate business processes in alignment with a multitude of software applications. This includes eliciting and documenting requirements and working closely with developers to provide solutions that meet business needs. The Business Analyst will also assist in creating test case scenarios, testing, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Documents and organizes current business processes
  • Work with team to gather, analyze and compile business process needs
  • Create process, models, specifications, diagrams and charts on current business processes
  • Elicit requirements and document user stories and business requirements document
  • Manage and track the status of the requirements throughout the project life cycle
  • Assist in streamlining and improving software development life cycle process
  • Develop test case scenarios based on project requirements
  • Conduct user acceptance testing when needed and coordinate UAT with stakeholders
  • Conduct demos and user training
  • Create training materials such as user guides and reference sheets
  • Perform related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrates behaviors that are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

    PRE-REQUISITES:
  • College degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or Information Systems with 3-5 years related work experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership of tasks and projects
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with users at all levels from assistant to Managing Director
  • Relational database knowledge and the ability to write basic T-SQL statements
  • Agile, waterfall SDLC understanding and experience is a plus
  • Cloud based implementation/support of Salesforce, Workday, or Concur is a plus
  • Any programming languages such as C#, .net, Html is a plus
