IT Project ManagerRemote / On Site (Role is primarily remote, but will require some onsite)Contract to Hire (Sorry, no 3rd party resumes)Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to be assist with the RFP, Proof of Concept, Vendor evaluation and implementation of a new Lending solution. Strong Project Management skills are a must, including the ability to create a project plan, manage a project plan, and manage project scope.Qualifications- At least 8 years’ progressive experience in portfolio, program and project management, and process improvement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or similar degrees; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
- Formal Project Management Certification – preferably PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
- Experience implementing technologies throughout the full project lifecycle is required. Proven record of success with business transformation initiatives and change management; a track record as an agent of change in complex organizations.
- Experience working within a strategic or enterprise PMO. Experience setting up a PMO is a plus.
- Experience in a Dev/Ops, CI/CD environment
- Proven experience with project finance & budget development and tracking and resource planning & management
The PM applies standard portfolio and project management methodology utilizing enabling technologies across various enterprise projects. They manage the project work of teams that include internal delivery teams, contractors, partners, and vendors. They are well-spoken and a dynamic project leader who can select the right methodology for the type of project and guide teams, hands-on, through the entire project from concept through Go-to-Market (GTM), including hypercare and transition to business-as-usual (BAU) processes.
