VP / Senior Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a VP / Senior Data Architect in Tampa, FL.Summary:Our client, one of the world's largest financial institutions, is seeking a hands on Vice President/Senior Java/Python CI/CD Cloud Engineer/Architect who understands design and architecture of Enterprise Data Warehouse to join their team as a fulltime employee. In this role, you'll will be consolidating and managing 14 applications that use 3 separate data sources into 1 application that uses 1 data source. As an experienced member of their Software Engineering Group, they look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. You'll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices Keen understanding of financial control and budget management Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals Passionate about building an innovative culture Experience creating complex SQL queries to support data analysis Familiar with Data Science concepts and applying them to analyze large volumes of data Comfortable with streaming and big data concepts using design patterns with software like Oracle, Java, Python, Spark, Flink, Kafka, HDFS, NIFI, Couchbase, Cassandra and AWS Cloud Expert at developing Functional and Technical Specifications, Process Flows, Data Sourcing, Data/Logic Models, Data Analysis, Mapping Documents, Automated testing frameworks, CI/CD processes, Agile concepts and other similar project deliverablesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
