Client: State of New YorkJob Title: Business AnalystDuration: 5+ MonthsNo. of Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per WeekStart Date: ASAPLocation: Albany, NYPosition Type: ContractInterview Type: In-person/Webcam/PhoneRequirement ID: SNYBA143SG Mandatory Qualications:Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Business AnalystBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of client focused requirements analysis experience in performing the duties of a business analyst, including but not limited to: conducting business and/or systems analysis, elicitation and validation of requirements, and producing requirements documentationBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of experience working on enterprise level software development projects with an active role in working with a wide range of stakeholders, including but not limited to: Customers, Project managers, Technical team, and other Business Analysts Desirable Qualications:Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience performing analysis, documentation and validation of business requirements in a software development environmentBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of experience analyzing and validating system requirements and rules for existing legacy systems, in particular for Mainframe and COBOL systemsBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of creating requirements documentation, including with not limited to: User stories, Use cases, Screen prototypes, Specications, and adhering to pre-established templatesBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of experience of working independently in conducting the full analysis of a projectBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of experience with business process reengineering and optimization, including analyzing and formulating To-Be processes and requirementsBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of experience identifying, documenting and leveraging business requirements across multiple business and technical area stakeholdersBetween four (4) and seven (7) years of experience utilizing requirements management tools similar to Blueprint Storyteller.
