a Senior Operations Architect you will be part of the Company Operations organization under Personalization Tools and Products.• You will embrace and champion the adoption of DevOps principles and processes at Company.You will help the team in refining the Company deployment and operations architecture, develop operations roadmaps and work with teams to achieve identified business goals.• You will team up with other architects and business users to design and develop solutions that fit Company Environments and Operations needs. You will work with teams to lead the product deployment technologies at Company.• The position will also be a go-to person for operations and technical expertise ensuring the proper deployment of Company services in production environments• The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of designing, building and supporting a rich ecosystem of applications on-premise datacenter(s) and in the cloud for a global company. Responsibilities:• Be the go-to person for technical architecture, tools/technology capabilities, application development and operations/support with in Company Engineering and Operations.• Provide guidance on how to leverage the latest technologies to create the most effective solutions in assigned areas• Translate functional requirements into technical design and develop robust solutions for assigned applications/projects.• Provide Level 3 and above production support for assigned applications.Meet published SLAs for incidents and problems• Provide support for deployment activities.• Partner with other architects, vendors, business and technical teams to understand customer needs and translate them into operations roadmaps and work toward realizing the roadmaps• Collaborate with immediate team and other technical teams to ensure implementations meet design specifications and adhere to established standards.• Adhere to agile software development guidelines (continuous integration, code reviews, code quality, iterative, unit testing, demos etc.)• Help with triaging and fixing issues for the planned applications and production platform.• Practice and evangelize DevOps principles and best practices across the organization.• Assist with platform management tasks such as technology evaluations, capacity planning, defining Admeasurements, etc. Educational Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent or appropriate experience that shows equivalent talent.
Preferred Experience:• 4+ years of experience designing highly-available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant and scalable distributed solutions indatacenter on-premise and our cloud platform.• Experience in software design, software deployment, infrastructure/system administration, solution architecture• Strong written communication skills• Ability to mentor and coach other engineers.Required Experience:• 5+ years operations/infrastructure experience of distributed applications.• Solid understanding of cloud product offerings and ecosystem of cloud technologies.• Outstanding presentation & communication skills: must be able to present ideas and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.• Ability to lead and conduct technical evaluations and design sessions• Experience in three or more of the following areas: o Operations/Infrastructure architecture System Integration Systems OperationsBig Data/Hadoop/Cassandra Postgres Database architectureo Troubleshooting Performance Tuningo Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, SOLR a plus Skill - DevOps-Big Data-Kafka Skill Description – DevOps BigData, Hadoop, Cassandra Kafka, KubernetesVacancy expired!
