- Define, draft and detail out Product Features and Roadmap priorities for AWS based Cloud Native development platform.
- Understand the industry practices, industry trends and state of art in cloud native computing trends and workflows
- Constantly scan the industry landscape and ensure the platform being developed maintains the right set of features and USP
- Continuously interact with internal stake holders, partners and developers to understand the needs and translate them into features / use cases in the platform roadmap
- Prioritize the feature needs, negotiate conflicting requirements vis-avis engineering capacity and review completion of the features
- Demonstrate expertise using Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
- Arranges daily stand-up meetings, facilitates and schedules meetings, demos and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of Agile methodology.
- Lead the team to self-organization, cross-functionality and adoption of a mature Agile delivery
- Candidate shall be a bachelors / masters in Computer Science from a reputed institute with 10+ years of experience
- Minimum 5 years as a Product Owner in an Agile environment across multiple cross-functional teams using agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Ability to write user stories from platform perspective
- Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing projects utilizing AWS or related cloud technologies
- Established experience in Cloud Native Platforms or allied business with an in-depth understanding of the industry and eco system
- Good understanding of the current state of art Cloud based products and platforms and their usages. Have a good grasp of the market and industry trends on cloud native computing
- Have led / involved in product development / management of Cloud Native platforms and products and have first-hand customer experience
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices, workflows, and tools
- Experience in developing prioritized product backlog by writing user stories and defining priorities for the development team
- Good experience with Agile principles and can drive engineering and process improvement efforts utilizing Agile/Lean Processes
- Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills.
