Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Brick Administrator supports the mission and vision of Whatcom Center for Early Learning by assisting with general office tasks including but not limited to systems, communications, billing, early intervention and program support, and facilities management. This position supports our Brick (Ferndale) location and must have the ability to travel efficiently between WCEL campuses in Bellingham as needed.
Skills and Abilities: Experience with and ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Square
Space, QuickBooks, Zoom and Adobe, or have willingness and competency to learn. Professional work habits (punctual, responsive, organized, ability to manage multiple
projects, attention to detail). Excellent communication skills including via written, in-person, social media and
telephone.
Educational and Knowledge: A minimum of 1 year experience as an Administrator or equivalent office experience. Experience with office and program management and support. Experience in early childhood programs/education and/or special education preferred.
Location: working in the office (approx 80% of the time) with occasional virtual work (using
Covid protocols, approx 20% of time)
