University Cleaners, Day porters, and Lead Cleaners Needed!

ABM is a national cleaning company with locations world wide. We are looking or people that want to start a career as a janitor- this is a position that will give you Union benefits, training, and experience to grow. You will be working for ABM to provide top rated custodial services to the University of Fairbanks, Alaska.

The right person will have:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 40 pounds

Be able to work well with others - performing basic customer service responsibilities

Accountable for working on your own and finishing tasks in timely matter

Complete all job duties including: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and cleaning spills

Cleaners (starting wage $14/hr)

Shifts available

5 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday , Full time, 40 hours per week.

8 am to 4:30 pm, various schedules available, typically 2 days off together. Full time, 40 hours per week.

10 pm to 6:30 am, various schedules available, typically 2 days off together. Full time, 40 hours per week.

10 pm to 6:30 am, Sunday through Thursday (Fri/Sat Off) – 2-3 available positions

8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (This will be a temporary schedule of 10 pm to 6:30 am Sun-Thurs until the first or 2nd week August 2021) – 1 opening
