Overview: A Release Manager is responsible for the process of managing, planning, scheduling and controlling a software release through different stages and environments; including testing and deploying software releases.

Responsibilities:Assist product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into productionImplement and manage release processes for application related updates through development, test, and production environmentsFocus on coordinating various aspects of production and projects into one integrated solutionInterface and communicate with Test Managers, Dev Managers, IT Ops and the PMOBuild the IT Release Calendar in working closely with the IT release managers from different portfolios across the Loan Production environment and centralize view of all releasesCoordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applicationsManage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations and vendorsConduct Release Readiness Reviews, Milestones reviews and business Go/No Go reviewsReview deployment plans, rollback plans, resource plans, communication plansWeekly Release reportingCommunicate release details and schedules to the business as neededNegotiate, plan and manage all release activitiesContinually look for making improvements in the release processParticipate and coordinate the Go live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklistsParticipate in the CAB meetings to discuss and review release scopes and/or roadblocks as neededPerform other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and valuesVendor Release Management and negotiationsCoordination with Vendor support teams during planning and execution windowsLead multiple teams in collating strategies and plans for releases Qualifications:Ability to be on call 24/7Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly in a fast paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environmentMust be a team player with strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independentlyProven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and mathematical skills, using sound judgment Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferredStrong business acumen and ability to interface with executive managementWe are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
