Our client, a provider of multi-asset class and real-time data, research, news and analytics company, is seeking a Cloud Devops Engineer
Location: Remote Position Type: Contract Who are we looking for? We are looking for an automation/DevOps Engineer having hands-on experience in creating DevOps pipelines and delivering Infrastructure as Code. This Engineer will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of IT Infrastructure with focus on building DevOps Pipeline and creating immutable Infrastructure for SPDJI Responsibilities:- Design and Implement new Infrastructure solutions, ability to understand requirements, take part in design discussions and deliver solutions end-to-end.
- Be a mentor and SME for the junior members of the team.
- Integrate application build & deployments scripts with Jenkins
- Build AMI images using Packer
- Deploy immutable infrastructure in AWS using Terraform
- Develop Ansible playbooks and automate execution of routine Linux scripts.
- Provision resources in AWS using Cloud Formation Templates
- Orchestrate container deployment using Docker & Kubernetes
- Configure Security Groups, Roles & IAM Policy in AWS
- Monitor infrastructure and develop utilization reports
- Evaluate new AWS services and solutions
- Troubleshoot Production issues
- Around 8 years of experience in handling multi-OS environment with both physical and virtual servers.
- Orchestrate CI/CD pipeline for provisioning infrastructure in AWS using Jenkins
- Primary: DevOps (Jenkins, Terraform, Packer, Ansible, GitHub, Artifactory)
- Secondary: RedHat Linux & AWS
- Tertiary: Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Python scripting
- Hands-on Experience with Linux and AWS.
- Redhat Linux and AWS Certifications preferred
- At least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MS in Computer Science is preferred.
- Candidates without Computer Science or Information Technology degree should have significant work experience.
