Description: Strong coaching and servant leadership skills to help teams manage work efforts. Must have excellent communication and team building skills. Help drive business value and results working with the product owner and the teams. Help mature the teams to be self-determined and motivated to continue delivering high results and expectations.• Creates and manages project/program resource loading and budget; reconciles budget monthly and communicates risks to Leadership • Sets and runs effective recurring status meetings with the product, portfolio and delivery managers • Provides a single point of contact for projects • Manages the health of the team • Works with Product Owner to define project scope and objectives • Works effectively with others to remove delivery team roadblocks • Guides team through continual improvement process • Bring ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation, theater and so on to help the team become a high-performance team • Empower the team to make system and process improvements captured in sprint retrospective meetings • Remove obstacles for developers and testers • Use key Scrum metrics (burndown, velocity) to help deliver committed work • Manage sprint backlog items and tasks • Manage all Scrum boards (physical or virtual) • Leads the teams efforts towards continuous improvement • Gathering and updating project materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents • Scheduling and allocating work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives • Coordinate all Scrum Ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Grooming, and Release Planning • Coaching and mentoring other ScrumMasters on our program team. Partnering to ensure that our ways of working are consistent across teams • Assist in defining and deploying new product development processes and in facilitating the continuous improvement of existing processes • Coaching and mentoring other Scrum Masters on our program team. Partnering to ensure that our ways of working are consistent across teams • Liaising between developers and project stakeholders; fostering quality communication between engineering disciplines • Strong knowledge of good software development practices • Solid interpersonal skills - able to establish strong working relationships • Assess Scrum Maturity of teams and the organization and coach teams to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team • Scrum as an asset; strong knowledge of all the concepts: tasks, backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, user stories • Highly organized with the ability to multitask • A background in retail financial services and a proven ability to quickly understand the business strategy and objectives • Ability to set clear performance standards, and hold team members accountable, while keeping team engaged and on task • Excellent team player and team builder with strong interpersonal skills • Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and proceduresEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
