DSA invites Senior Network Engineers with a Secret clearance to apply!The Senior Network Engineer (SNE) will support and manage the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multiple operational systems and networks.Job Description:The SNE will manage a variety of network and telecommunications support functions, including trouble ticket management, service order entry, and/or configuration management. The SNE directs the testing, planning, assembly, installation, implementation, and maintenance of networks using both manual and automated tools. The SNE evaluates system problems of workflow, organization, and planning, develops appropriate corrective action. Performs all work in accordance with established standards. SNEs are critical and considered to be first responders to any system problems. The SNE team will provide on-site maintenance and support, available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week to respond to system problems that arise during operations.Required Skills and Experience:The SNE shall possess and demonstrate experience and knowledge to meet or exceed the following requirements:Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows server 2012 or later.Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory using Windows tools, policies, and PowerShell scripting.Familiarity with converged, hyper-converged and cloud-based services to provide Virtual machines and Windows host Servers and desktops Install, maintain, manage, diagnose, troubleshoot and/or supportExtensive experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 8 later.Experience with Citrix XenDesktop 7, or later.Extensive experience with Microsoft Access 2007 or later.Experience with WebEOC version 7 or later.Experience with network design, network protocols, routers, switches.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later and geo-clustering support for always-on, failover operation.Extensive experience with and knowledge of FISMA certification and accreditation.Experience with developing administration and operations support procedures.Experience with help desk support.Extensive is defined as 10+ years of working knowledgeExperience is defined as 7 + years of working knowledgeIt is preferred that the SNE have the following experience:Experience with HTML, XML.Experience with scripting languages (such as java script or visual basic script).Experience with telephony systems, and PBX systems.Experience with Audio/Video (A/V) systems.Required Education and Certifications:Bachelor's Degree6 years' relevant experienceTemporary telework may be involved upon award due to COVID-19 Restrictions at NRC HQThe SNE is required to hold, at a minimum, an NRC clearance at the "L" level, which is equivalent to a Secret clearance OR a SECRET Clearance.Salary and Benefits include but not limited to:
