Office Assistant needed for local company in Tri-Cities WA. We are a growing full service construction company that has a positive, fun, work environment with excellent opportunities. We specialize in New Construction Homes, upscale remodels, commercial new construction (as well as remodels and TI's). Starting wage will be dependent on experience but will be no less then $15 per hour.

-Prior experience in a similar field or setting is preferred.

-Bilingual preferred but not required.

-Prior quick books experience or general knowledge is preferred.

-2 or more years prior experience directly working with people in person, over the phone or via email IS REQUIRED.

-Our ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to prioritize the tasks given to you and will be punctual and reliable. The schedule is Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm. Position will work 40 hours per week.

The office assistant's primary responsibilities are the following:

-Provide administrative support to the office manager and other staff as needed.

-Data entry using quick books including receipts, invoices, purchase orders and employee time cards.

-Check the mail and distribute it to the appropriate people.

-Keeping the offices in both of our buildings clean. This will be 25% of your job and cleaning must kept up daily.

-Compile safety meeting topic list each week.

-Frequently scan, fax and make copies for others.

-Answer phones and communicate with clients, subcontractors and vendors in a polite and professional manner and schedule appointments for prospective clients to meet with our estimators. You must have enough construction experience to be able to navigate through a phone call with a prospective client.
