Capital AKcess Driver

Catholic Community Service (CCS) is a regional, non-profit organization providing services to individuals and families throughout Southeast Alaska. Our services include programs for seniors, children and families and for individuals needing home health and hospice services. We employ and serve people of all faiths and walks of life with dignity, care and compassion.

The Juneau Capital AKcess program is seeking a Capital AKcess driver to provide transportation to seniors and persons with disabilities. Job duties include assisting passengers in and out of vehicles, providing door to door assistance, maintaining safety and cleanliness of Capital AKcess vehicle, recording rides, mileage, and transportation records, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age, have an Alaska driver’s license and a good driving record for the past 18 months with no DUI or reckless driving for the past three years. Experience working with senior citizens and/or persons with disabilities is preferred. Experience with routine vehicle maintenance is desirable. Background check and pre-employment/random drug tests required.

Currently have one full-time position at 37.5 hours a week and one 3/4 time position at 30 hours/week. Shifts may include weekend and evening hours.
