Complete Description The ITAM Administrator will oversee implementation of IT Asset Management in ServiceNow inconjunction with fellow ServiceNow admins, process owners and other IT teams towards sharedgoals of risk mitigation and inventory lifecycle management. The ITAM Administrator will have adeep understanding of ServiceNow modules to guide IT teams in the implementation. The ITAMAdministrator should become a trusted advisor to stakeholders on the ServiceNowimplementation that compliments IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes. The position reportsto the ITSM Project Lead.Essential Functions1. Help build Asset Management service in ServiceNow, including identifying key skills,roles, processes and resources required to support the service2. Collaborate with stakeholders to solicit, collect and analyze information about existing ITasset processes within all of our customers environments to assess how Asset Management inServiceNow can be implemented and processes standardized3. Configure ServiceNow modules as required by stakeholders and IT leadership, andsupport them in using the product according to standard processes4. Take full advantage of available resources to develop training, documentation andknowledge for targeted internal consumption5. Champion ServiceNow Asset Management adoption with all of our customers plants6. Author and deliver best-practice workshops in support of Asset Management adoptiongoals throughout the company7. Attend, support and represent our customer at conferences and events if applicable8. Regularly and positively represent the ServiceNow toolchain and related processes inachieving business-driven outcomes at relevant meetings, events, webinars, etc.9. Maintain ServiceNow knowledge and assist with platform and ITAM-specific upgrades10. Improve relevant skillsets and expertise through training and certification11. Drive communication across the entire life cycle of the ServiceNow ITAM projectRequired Education and Experience:1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience2. 3+ years working in a position implementing and delivering ServiceNow projects3. Thorough understanding of ServiceNow configurations, including but not limited toBusiness Rules, Workflows, Client vs. Server side, Glide system, Script Includes, etc.4. Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management and Inventory Lifecycle processes and howthey interrelate with CMDB and other ServiceNow modules5. Alignment with ServiceNow Best Practice to "Stick to the Out-of-the-Box" processes6. ServiceNow System Administrator Certification ("Madrid" or later release)
