Seeking a bookkeeper with good interpersonal skills. A background in accounting will be a plus. This bookkeeper role would be a direct hire opportunity, located in Monterey, CA.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Work with the company CPA to maintain books and records using Quickbooks. Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information. Monitor accounts by balancing entries. Familiar with A/P, A/R, G/L. Organizing and manage documents and records. When required, answer phones.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have experience with Quickbooks Enterprise. Must have great communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to multitask and to prioritize workload. Experience with correspondence with clients by phone and email. A team player, responsive, dependable and with a strong work ethic and a "client service" orientation. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Be organized and detail oriented. Must display excellent problem-solving skills.
