A Roseville, CA company is seeking a full time Accounts Receivable Specialist.
FUNCTIONS:
Timely customer invoicing with a variety of terms and in multiple countries.
Collection activities to keep AR current.
Review customer orders ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Maintain customer information.
Invoice and track customer prepayments.
Prepare & record bank deposits and bank reconciliations.
Review invoicing and receipts, reconciling as appropriate, & posting to general ledger.
Reconciliation of AR and Customer Deposits to general ledger.
Sales Tax calculations for multiple states & maintain Sales Tax Exemption Certificates.
Maintain receivable files (physical and computer) and reconcile as needed.
Participate in processing month end and year end closures.
Assist with sales tax reports for multiple states.
Produce reports for Accounting and other departments as needed.
Other duties and assistance as required.
SYSTEMS USED:
NetSuite.
QuickBooks Online
Microsoft Excel.
Microsoft Word.
Avatax / Avalara
REQUIREMENTS:
Intermediate Excel and Word skills.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Ability to communicate clearly & concisely with customers as well as internally.
Able to work independently and possess problem solving skills.
Professional and reliable.
Multitask oriented.
Knowledgeable & reliable handling procedures with confidential information.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years relevant experience.
