Forklift Operator/Driver

We are looking for a careful and expert Telescoping Boom Rough Terrain Forklift Operator / Driver with a Class A license for transporting doors and windows and placing at the clients' location. You will be operating well maintained machinery with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. This is a fast-paced, outdoor position that requires early starts and late finishes. The candidate for this role should have the ability to meet the physical demand of the job (sitting for long periods and lifting heavy loads, etc.), great customer service skills, and the ability to multitask and adhere to tight deadlines.

Job description

Safely load and unload doors and window structures

Load, secure and unload Telescoping Boom Rough Terrain Forklift onto trailer

Transport doors and windows and Forklift to the job site for installation

Utilizing Forklift unload units and place in Opening

o Crane into positon

o Suction cup fixture into place

o Forklift into place

Keep updated records and activity logs

Comply with company policies and guidelines

Bi-lingual English / Spanish a plus

Requirements & Qualifications

Must hold a Class A license and a minimum of 5 years of experience operating a forklift

Valid certification to operate forklifts is a MUST!

Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator

Attention to detail and familiarity of machinery equipment

Capable of understanding and following safety company procedures

Able and willing to work overtime and irregular work schedules

Great attitude, work ethic, and teamwork mindset

Able to lift (50 lbs. minimum), load, unload and move heavy products, and fulfill all physical requirements of the job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24 - $26 per hour (DOE)
