Millworks Etc., Inc. is looking for a hard-working individual with good attention to detail and a strong desire to be in the woodworking industry. The applicant must be okay with wearing protective gear while working. Must be okay with doing repetitive work on an hourly basis. Perform work in a high production manufacturing facility and the ability to follow direction, ability to follow instructions, team player mindset, good communication skills, ability to meet the physical demand of the job (standing for long periods and lifting heavy loads, etc.), commitment to safety rules, and self-motivated.

Job description

 Ensures that automatic machines operate continuously so that products meet required specifications without defects.

 Sets up and operates molder to plane, shape, and groove Woodstock.

 Examines patterns shape to determine molder set up procedures and type Woodstock to be cut.

 Selects and installs cutting heads on the machine according to the pattern to be cut.

 Inserts and bolts specified knives in slots of cutterheads.

 Positions pattern on molder and turns handwheel to adjust cutting knives.

 Removes pattern and adjust guides, pressure bars, and table levels according to depth, position of cuts, and stock dimensions.

 Inspects stock being cut to determine defects.

 Verifies dimensions of cut materials, using gauges, rule, or caliper.

 Reads and interprets drawings to manufacture moldings accordingly.

 Keeps tooling neat and organized and in good condition.

Requirements & Qualifications

 Experience working in the Millwork Industry as a Moulder Operator, 3-year minimum.

 Must have the ability to read blueprints

 Great attitude, work ethic, and teamwork mindset

 Excellent time management skills

 Able to lift (50 lbs. minimum) and stand for long periods

 Bilingual is a PLUS!
