Follow us on Twitter at @EpsilonMktg.Job DescriptionThe Sr. Director leads a globally distributed team and partners with the products, the account, and the development teams to design, optimize, implement, upgrade and maintain Oracle database solutions that support our core automotive products and are consistent with enterprise architecture standards and best practices for high performance, high scalability and high availability.The right candidate will have a proven track record of leading highly effective teams and delivering quality software at scale. This candidate will also have a strong experience in Oracle database, programming, and full software development cycle including analysis, architecture, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, continuous integration, and quality assurance.
SKILLS and Experience:- 10 or more years of experience leading geographically dispersed software development teams through multiple product development cycles.
- 10 or more years of enterprise level relational database experience with Oracle in large scale OLTP and OLAP environments.
- Advanced degree in computer science with specialization or substantial project work in Oracle database design and SQL.
- Proven expertise in software design, Oracle database ecosystem, web services, API, and object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Perl or Python.
- Extensive use of Oracle RMAN and Streams, Oracle ASM, PL/SQL programming, Shell Scripts.
- Experienced with ETL tools including Informatica, Pentaho PDI along with some exposure to Change data capture tools such as HVR or Oracle Golden Gate.
- Awareness of data security, PII rules and legislation including GDRP and CCPA.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment and within tight deadlines.
