Systems Storage Engineer - ( 5 Needed! )

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, tuning, optimizing, troubleshooting and the general administration of storage/backup systems to support the technical capabilities of client.Required Knowledge, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience working with Avamar/DataDomain

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology related field

  • 5+ years of experience in NetApp 7-Mode and CDOT Administration in large enterprise environment

  • Extensive knowledge of NFS, CIFS and iSCSI protocols on NetApp storage running Data ONTAP.

Qualifications a Plus:

  • NetApp Cluster-Mode Administration experience

  • Netapp Storage Grid

  • EMC experience

  • 3PAR experience

  • DataDomain Cloud Tier

  • DataDomain Administration

  • Avamar Grid Administration

  • Dell PPDM (Power Protect)

  • Experience with NetApp administration tools - DFM, OnCommand (SANScreen) and Performance Advisor

  • Experience with various server administration, including UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows

  • Experience with NetApp SnapCenter

  • UNIX Shell and/or PowerShell scripting experience

  • Working knowledge with Service NOW is a plus

  • Knowledge of data center networking infrastructure
