Title: Information Security Executive Advisor Location: Atlanta, GA Norfolk, VA Responsible for building and delivery of end to end application, system development and maintenance on complex multi technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings.
- Plays an individual contributor role in Owning the responsibility of development of the components
- Should own the responsibility of the handshakes between different types of systems and may coordinate with other teams as necessary.
- Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams.
- Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.
- Performs technical design reviews and code reviews as well as Hands on experience in Pega
- May own technical testing to ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
- Assesses current status and supports data information planning. Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system.
- Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects.
- Will begin to set direction at the project/service level and influences decision-making. Provides technical guidance, and mentoring.
- Understands the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product needs of the technical solutions.
- Identifies and propose strategies around technical problems affecting team, communicates standards and gets buy-in on solutions.
- Facilitates group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.
- Supports vendor evaluation.
- 4-5 years Pega PRPC experience with in-depth hands on experience in Pega 8.x/7.x
- Must be a Pega Certified Senior System Architect at least 3 years ago from now
- Strong understanding and experience on Pega overall enterprise class structure
- Should have extensive understanding of the concepts of reusability
- Extensive knowledge on SOAP, REST services and connectors, Listeners and Stored Procedures.
- Experience in understanding the data model and normalization of data from the backend
- Experience in querying the database both for analytics purpose
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as PLA, PAL, PDC, SPLUNK
- Knowledge on analyzing Alert logs, Thread dumps and fix critical alerts.
- Good understanding of UI/UX and experience on working with Portals, Skins, Flow Action, Sections and all the UI components.
- Working collaboratively with teams onshore as well as offshore on a daily basis
- Health Care experience
- Knowledge on Pega Devops tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc. for Continuous integration and deployment(CICD)
- Pega Lead certification
- Knowledge on SQL, Oracle
- Knowledge on Cloud technologies
- Knowledge on SAFE & Agile methodologies
