Overview:

This is a telecommute/work from home position. The front-end developer will work closely with the Product, User Experience teams and Personalization team and will play a key role in shaping experiences to optimize Mercy's digital platforms. The developer will combine HTML and Java skills with the Adobe suite to program A/B test scenarios, landing page optimization, and personalization experiences. This role will have experience using agile development to deliver testing and personalization experiences across digital properties for large enterprises. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing best practices for technical solutions, developing testing activities, and collaborating with the internal stakeholders on the strategy and tactics to achieve exceptional results. The role will work with other digital experts to code, QA and deploy optimization and personalization experiences that drive KPIs and increase conversion rates.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: • 4+ years of front-end development experience with exceptional skills in HTML, CSS3, JSON and JavaScript. • Significant experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud (AEM, Target, Analytics, Launch) strongly required.• Experience with responsive development and mobile optimization (both custom media queries and using frameworks such as Bootstrap).• 3 years of experience working in a digital agency, digital retail, eCommerce or similar organization. • Have a passion for ensuring projects are completed with the cleanest and most optimized code, utilizing development best-practices and WCAG (508) web accessibility standards. • A successful track record of creative thinking and problem solving; bring strategies and ideas to the table for optimization efforts and conversion projects• Have a wholistic understanding of digital marketing technology and the modern martech stack.• Have a strong familiarity with JavaScript and how it relates to standard web analytics libraries, such as Adobe Analytics.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Other: • Self-motivated, well-organized and able to manage your time to balance multiple projects and requests• Excellent written and oral communication skills; willing to work closely with internal teams to contribute and accept constructive feedback while keeping a positive attitude throughout the project• Attention to detail; will be responsible for initial testing and QA of implemented solutions.• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best-practices (WCAG and 508 compliance)• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment • Intellectual horsepower (highly analytical & strategic) • Drives for results in prioritized manner (balanced sense of urgency) • Listening skills, minimal ego (listen first, then respond) • Agile (can adapt quickly to a changing environment) • Possess high degree of integrity and moral character
