Food Server For an Assisted Living

Job Description

The Dietary Server provides the residents their food and beverages; assists the cook as needed, cleans the kitchen and dining area, and delivers meals to Memory Care and resident rooms as needed. The server must be familiar with the resident’s names, meal preferences, and special diets as prescribed by the physician. The server will work with the care staff to oversee the health and welfare of the residents during mealtimes. Servers will make themselves available to help with special events as directed by management.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, communicate effectively in English.

• Prior Kitchen work experience
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift (bending, twisting, etc.) along with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
