Role: Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Dallas, TX & Indianapolis, IN (Remote) Duration: 6+ Months Iimportant Note Financial Awareness - 3-5 years Date warehouse team and project Business analyst - Must ETL (Data Warehouse), SQL - Must have experience in data analysis and requirement gathering and be able to speak to the experience Finance applications and functional knowledge - ERP, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc. Data analysis and be able to talk to engineers in engineering language. Must have data knowledge. Tableau - MUST HAVE knowledge familiar with but not looking for a developer. Will be demonstrating in Tableau Snowflake preferred - will use daily for the project. Informatica knowledge is compatible. Communication is very important. Communication with stakeholders. Accountability and responsible for taking the project to finish. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred knowledge of Salesforce Must be able to hit the ground running The Business Intelligence Analyst role will support Salesforce's Finance Business Unit in creating & supporting BI and analytics platforms to drive business insights. Must be able to work with multiple teams and business stakeholders simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements and perform impact analysis. Evaluate data systems, operations, and security aspects Own the end-to-end analysis and documentation of business procedures including all logic, validations for data integrity and accuracy, and dependencies involved to create functional design documents Document and organize business flows to enable the successful implementation of solutions by working across various teams, to meet the customer needs Support the design, implementation, and testing in short agile release cycles of in-house development end-to-end. Engage with vendor teams for data collection as required Build Tableau reports and dashboards for customer demos Bring up the creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to promote a robust reporting climate. Serves as a subject matter expert Competencies: Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving skills. Expertise in SQL, business process mapping/design, data visualization skills Experience with data warehouses and BI tools (Informatica, Snowflake, Tableau) Experience in Finance functional domain Experience in SaaS preferred Ability to communicate effectively and foster collaborative relationships with global cross-functional teams Comfortable in a rapid pace and ever-changing environment About BCforward: BCforward began as an IT business solution and staffing firm.
