The Contracts Administrator (CA) will provide a full range of contract administration services in support of a global procurement function. The CA performs comprehensive contract management and maintains contract repository data integrity in support of critical business decisions. May support portions of more complex contract negotiations.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the establishment of contract records in the contract repository.
  • Secure supplier contract signatures in compliance with the procurement policies.
  • Develop, execute and optimize critical contract repository governance controls.
  • Conduct contract administration for a small quantity of standard contracts in the assigned category, including assisting with nondisclosure agreements, noncomplex agreements, statements or work, and terminations, among others.
  • Identifies contracting issues and escalates to more senior team members with problem resolution recommendations.
  • Conducts research to support contract negotiations and compiles findings into an appropriate, useable format.
  • Negotiates contracts in an assigned category. With little guidance, reviews and analyzes contract asks and effectively communicates requirements. Reviews and analyzes noncomplex, standard contract requirements.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook AND 2+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with and strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and practices; CLM "super user" or implementation experience helpful
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business contracts terms, and ability to interpret legal and business terms and clauses across contract types, including non-disclosure agreements, events management agreements, etc.
  • 2+ years hands-on contract management experience, working with contract redlining, and familiarity with contracting processes
  • 2+ years strong technical skills that can be directly applied to managing various document types in Contract Lifecycle Management systems or Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems
  • Strong business insight and judgment on maintaining contract integrity and CLM governance and controls
  • Willingness to successfully balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Enjoys a hands-on role when working through contracts management challenges and opportunities
