Cloud Data Engineer / Mid to Senior / Python / ETL

A full-services enterprise health services company located in Irvine is looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to join their team who will partner with the Data Science team. This Mid to Senior level Cloud Data Engineer will be working on implementing modern cloud architecture and data engineering to support their AI cloud initiatives. You will be responsible for building data pipelines into the cloud for their structured/non-structure data, developing ELT and ETL processes for reporting and developing data repositories. The ideal candidate will be proficient within the cloud (AWS, Azure, OpenStack), an expert with Python or R and have numerous years of experience with ETL and SQL. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years professional Data Engineering experience
• Proficient with cloud solutions - AWS, Azure, OpenStack
• Expert with building data pipelines using Python or R
• Experience with ETL, ELT and SQL
• Strong experience with structured and non-structured data
• Database experience with NoSQL, Postgres and/or SQL
• Solid understanding of data flows through webservices and APIs

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Cloud Certifications
• HIPAA/HITECH compliance
• DevOps and Source Control
• Containerization with Docker, Kubernetes
