Male & Female Housekeeper (Night Shift/Weekends) - CVAC / Refuge

Carmel Valley Athletic Club lies just beyond the fog line, where sunshine and breathtaking scenery collide. Once a local hot-spot, known for its tennis prowess at the height of the tennis boom, it has since become a club focused on all aspects of health and fitness. Through its nationally recognized tennis program is still a key element to its wellness regimen, the club has expanded with a two-story fitness building, Mind & Body Center featuring more than 70 group exercise classes, Fitness Studio with Reformer Pilates, a heated lap pool, adult and family hot tubs, Kids Club, monthly wellness/social programs, and much more. Carmel Valley Athletic Club is also home to "Refuge" which is the country's first outdoor co-ed relaxation spa.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

- CVAC & Refuge general housekeeping cleaning duties (i.e. public area, locker rooms, fitness center, sauna, steam rooms, tennis courts, and pool areas).

- Work within the on-premises laundry facility including collecting and issuing laundry (i.e. towels, robes, and sheets).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Professional demeanor, ethical behavior, and excellent interpersonal skills with members, and the team

- Flexible and able to multi-task

- Flexibility in work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and overtime

- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all club's procedures and standards

- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and demonstrate initiative

- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services within a fitness and spa setting

- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) helpful

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Ability to lift and/or carry heavy bags and boxes

- Ability to work in cold, wet, dry, and hot conditions
