Job Description

This position willprovide support for the

SAP FICO systems. This includes design, specification, configuration, customization, testing, documenting, training, delivery, reporting and support of software and hardware solutions relating to the master data, configuration, customization, reporting and transactions associated with these processes and applications, across all Foster Farms locations; including a

[limited/low/moderate/high] level of knowledge of related content for additional SAP software components installed at Foster Farms. [

Higher job levels will be responsible for providing technical guidance of and assistance to other Functional Analysts and Associate Functional Analysts.]

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Will provide design and implementation support for the ongoing

SAP FICO projects. This may include requirement collection, solution design and concept writing as well as performing heavily customizing activities of the

SAP FICO system and their interfaces to other SAP systems.

Will provide primary end user support for the

SAP FICO System. This includes:

-Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of end user problems.

-Raising, managing, and escalating support tickets with 3rd party software application support parties

-Performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions suchas maintaining, adjusting, and manipulating interface intermediate documents (IDocs) where applicable (i.e. WMS / EDI).

-Contribute to ongoing system improvement efforts to include:

-Collecting requirements from business users, researching available solutions, developing and documenting conceptual design alternatives.

-Communicate effective conceptual designs, writing technical specifications and coordinating development work with more senior analysts and/or programming staff, building and configuring prototypes and prototype documentation.

-Communicate with and educate business users, conduct unit testing and coordinate integration and user acceptance testing.

-Work with security team to ensure appropriate system authorization, migrating to production.

-Prepare comprehensive and thorough design and training documentation, train subject matter experts, and provide post-implementation support efforts.

Will interact regularly with end users, engaging in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues, and providing continuous improvements to all aspects of design and processes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

:

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System / Computer Information Systems or related field

Must be capable of working to a structured work plan with aggressive milestones and have strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making ability

Must be highly goal and results oriented

Must be highly self-motivated and driven – must be capable and willing to learn complex systems with minimal supervision

Experience with developing business requirements

Experience learning and documenting complex business processes

Project experience is beneficial

Must be able to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and team members, both written and verbal

Excellent technical skills (e.g. SAP, MS Office suite, MS Project, Skype for Business, etc.)

This position will require possession or development of specific skills, knowledge and experience with the SAP FICO environment. Experience with non-SAP systems is also desired.

ASSOCIATE FUNCTIONAL ANALYST REQUIREMENTS:

Meets minimum requirements and the following:

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in

SAP ECC. Familiarity with business process reengineering, six sigma, lean manufacturing, etc. is strongly desired

Experience learning and documenting complex business processes

Project experience

Understanding of software development lifecycle phases and activities, and project management principles

Ability to move up within the organization

Exposure to Business Systems in SAP/ERP environment

Exposure to and familiarity with consumer products industry strongly preferred

FUNCTIONALANALYST I REQUIREMENTS:

Meets requirements of lower level in addition to the following:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in

SAP ECC.

Thorough understanding and use of SAP configuration and best practices.

Basic knowledge of

SAP ECC including FI and CO modules

Understanding of SAP integration and interfaces

FUNCTIONAL ANALYST II REQUIREMENTS:

Meets requirements of lower level(s) in addition to the following:

Minimum 3-7 years of experience in

SAP FICO.

Minimum of 3-7 years of progressive responsibility in software analysis, design, development, and configuration including experience in

SAP FICO modules

including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Banks, Treasury, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, BOMs and Routings/Recipes, COPA, Overhead Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Bank Master, etc.

Experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) in both a Repetitive and Process Manufacturing Environment, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Project Systems (PS), Quality Management (QM)

Must demonstrate understanding of how Master Data functions in

ECC and process implications of making changes to the Master Data.

Familiarity with SAP testing and transport processes is beneficial as well as knowledge on integration points with the SAP, SCM-APO, CRM, MII and BW modules.

Understanding of software development lifecycle phases and activities, and project management principles. This includes both the Waterfall and Agile Project Methodology.

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with members of other IT and business teams, both written and verbal.

Thorough understanding of developing and completing test cases and test scenarios.

Demonstrated ability to prepare technical and user documentation for projects and enhancements.

Demonstrated capability to work to a structured work plan with aggressive milestones and have strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making ability.

Self-motivated and directed.

SENIOR FUNCTIONALANALYST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

:

Meets requirements of lower level(s) in addition to the following:

Minimum of 5 - 7 years as an IT analyst including experience using

SAP FICO modules

including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Banks, Treasury, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, BOMs and Routings/Recipes, COPA, Overhead Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Bank Master, etc.

Experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) in both a Repetitive and Process Manufacturing Environment, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Project Systems (PS), Quality Management (QM).

Excellent technical skills (e.g. SAP, MS Office suite, MS Project, MS Visio, Skype for Business).

Familiarity with the ABAP programming language and various customizing techniques.

Experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle including but not limited to developing business requirements, system design, developing test plans and use cases, training plans, preparing technical documentation, and project management principles and tools. This includes both the Waterfall and Agile Project Methodology.

Must be effective teacher/mentor capable of educating other team members in SAP capabilities and best practices.

Experience learning and documenting complex business processes.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s Degree

IT experience working in a manufacturing organization for a $1+ billion organization.

Broad consumer products industry experience strongly preferred.

Ability to move up within the organization.

Strong skillset in COPA Profitability Analysis setup and design

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have reliable transportation

Must be have to obtain CA drivers license

Must be able to travel over night occasionally

Must be able to have consistent attendance in the Livingston, or other assigned Foster Farms’ Office

Must be able to sit for long periods of time

Must be able to drive to various company and vendor locations

Must be able to work on the computer for long periods of time

Must be able to deal with periodic high stress situations

Must be able to stay calm and focused when dealing with difficult issues.
