Sr. / Lead Software Engineer - .Net Core / API's / Cloud

An innovative and fast paced financial firm in Orange County is seeking an expert ENGINEER to join their team. Currently building out a new .Net team developing enterprise level applications involving predictive analytics within the financial industry. Seeking a Sr. / Lead - full stack .NET Engineer with strong backend service. Ability to assist in designing, creating, and developing new solutions using the latest in cloud and IIS. Ideal candidate will have the ability to take the lead in solving complex problems within a diverse team environment.

• Strong, scalable code using C# .NET Core
• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps
• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
• Use and adapt existing web applications for application development
• Create and test software prototypes
• Develop client displays and user interfaces
• Assist software personnel in handling project related work and other requirements
• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers
• Leadership qualities and ability so to see projects from design, development to launch

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET Core framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
• 10+ years development experience using C# .NET
• Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies like Azure and Azure Dev Opps
• Familiarity with CI/CD
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Currently using VueJS for web pages but UI Technologies such as Angular2+or React also preferred
• Microservices Architecture
• Kubernetes, Docker, TeamCity, Git, and other CI/CD type tools for automated deployment
• Server less functions like Azure functions AWS Lambda are a huge plus but not a must
• Experience with AWS tools like EC2,
• Enterprise Architecture and team leadership

• 145-165k Base
