Job Title: Desktop Engineer Location: Carpentaria , California Duration: 6-12 months Is Remote option available during COVID: Yes Max Rate - $22/hr c2c/1099 Local resources required Job Description: Communicate with customers at all levels of technical and non-technical skills sets. It is expected to walk the end user through steps remotely to help resolve the identified vulnerability issue. Ability to perform preventive maintenance on computer hardware and software. Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software. Troubleshooting networking and connection issues. Advising on software or hardware upgrades. Video Conference Inspect and maintain all audio visual and video conferencing systems and/or equipment within client facilities as specified by client. Proactively support issues reported via email, chat, phone, and other client support mediums. Scope for all deliverables is not limited to work location. Provide maintenance services for all conference room technical systems including projectors, VC and audio conferencing equipment and infrastructure. This work includes bulb replacement, RMA of equipment, trouble shooting and repairs of any physical layer problems. Service tasks from an assigned task queue to service support requests for maintenance/repair. Provide support of such items as (but not limited to) LCDs, projectors, and VC systems. Skills: Service Now Ticketing, Technical Support, Customer Service (Help Desk), Windows 10, Top Skills Details: 2+ year experience supporting Windows 10 environments and understanding of Windows diagnostic process. Experience with Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager). Troubleshooting and break/fix experience as well as ticketing experience (have worked in a help desk environment). Basic Networking and Identity Management Troubleshooting and repair of network functions in a remote environment. Setting up computers on domain. Candidates must have a strong track record of customer service, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), the ability to accept change, as well as a "can do" attitude and a solutions-oriented mentality
