he Project Management Analyst analyzes SDLC teams by monitoring planning and performance metrics and communicating findings to IT Portfolio Manager and PMO team. The project management analyst is responsible for creating and running reports, gathering pertinent data, and providing an analysis of the data to the PMO team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Monitor SDLC teams within IT via performance and planning metrics and reports to adhere to the rhythms created by IT Portfolio Manager• Work closely with IT Portfolio Manager to keep the roadmap of projects IT up to date• Create strategies for deliverables for business projects to include process changes, technology changes and customer impact with IT Portfolio Manager and PMO team• Understand the SDLC methodology within Information Technology Team including Development, Software Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Release Management departments to guide and create processes that lead to effective exchange of information to ensure delivery of the highest quality software and technology solution releases to QTC customers• Understand the process of translating business requirements into technical specification requirements including database and table structure analysis, risks and assumptions for outlined solution delivery• Understand legacy applications as well as existing core processes to guide decision making for projects as needed• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Competencies:• Effective verbal, presentation and written communication skills• Possess excellent interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Understanding of effective analytical, product and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses) Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education• 2 to 5 years of related experience• Must possess demonstrated working knowledge with Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education• 2 to 5 years of related experience• Must possess demonstrated working knowledge with Microsoft SharePoint, Office (Word, Excel), MS Project, Visio and PowerPoint • Solid knowledge of different software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum) • Possess a strong working knowledge in the areas of application programming, database, system design as well as web-based and client/server architectures. • Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation a plus• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation• Solid knowledge of different software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum) • Possess a strong working knowledge in the areas of application programming, database, system design as well as web-based and client/server architectures. • Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation a plus• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
