Your Moment."This application is the first step in seizing your moment.The Software Quality Engineer is for technically minded individuals to test and improve the quality of the Lumin Digital offerings. An ideal candidate will be organized, have attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and believe in the importance of quality. The primary function of the role is to design, develop and implement test strategies using automated testing frameworks.Essential Functions:

  • Conduct product level user testing
  • Document test scenarios and testing results
  • Create test cases for functional areas of the product
  • Run and analyze load tests using K6 and other load test tools
  • Assist in maintenance of Protractor / Selenium end-to-end tests written in TypeScript
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Passionate about creating quality products
  • Experience using digital products from a variety of industries
  • Competent in skills and abilities related to the use of computers (word processing, spreadsheets, web browsers, etc)
  • Highly-ethical in their presentation and performance, earning the trust and respect of their mentors and collaborators
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize thoughts, communicate clearly, and concisely
  • Organizational and detail skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Critical thinkers, with problem solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Able to pivot easily when challenges or obstacles arise
  • Willing to do a variety of tasks to help achieve business goals
Useful Experience:
  • Mobile iOS and Android platforms
  • Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Issue tracking with Jira
  • Agile development environment
  • Automated end-to-end testing
  • Load / Performance testing
  • Digital Banking experience
  • Familiar with programming languages (i.e., Python, Ruby, C#)
Education:
  • HS Diploma or GED plus a minimum of one year of relevant education experience.
