ROLE: SDET (AWS) LOCATION: Remote (company in Rockville, MD) SUMMARY: Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a Jnr-Mid SDET for a client in the financial services industry. The position is a contract or contract-to-hire, offering a competitive compensation package. The successful candidate must have a strong understand of Java architecture, and a test mentality to support the assurance of cloud infrastructure. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong experience creating test scripts in Java/Python
  • Strong experience in an QA/Test environment - have a good test mentality
  • Ability to leverage a range of AWS tools
    • AWS Certification highly preferred (e.g. AWS Associate Developer)
  • Good knowledge Performance, Load & Functional testing
  • Have a self-directed personality and ability to work on own initiative
  • Confident communication skills and ability to work with a team
