Description Robert Half Technology is currently assisting a client in Walnut & Santa Fe Springs, CA, that is in a search of 2 Field Service Specialist for a 6-month contract-to-fulltime basis! The Field Service Specialist will be the primary tech support for multiple offices in the LA Region along with Inland Empire, CA area! This position is onsite as you will be responsible for Tier I/II/III related software and hardware issues that arise. Requirements 100% Onsite - travel required from sites, mileage reimbursement will be offered Key Responsibilities for Field Service Specialist - Walnut & Santa Fe Springs, CA - 6 mo. CTH ·At least 2+ years of experience configuring, deploying and setting-up workstations for desktop, laptop, printers and other IT equipment as needed when onsite - strong Windows support·Trouble shoot and resolve hardware and application issues via phone calls and on-site in accordance to pre-defined SLAs Resolve complex issues effectively and follow through to appropriate resolution·Expertise working with TCP/IP protocols, Active Directory, O365, scanners, printers, RF Guns, POS systems, networking, and switches supporting 200+ end-users·Expertise with infrastructure services including DHCP, DNS, Printer Services - managing network shares and network printers·Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting any or all of the following products or technologies for desktop related duties·Experience with the administration of Office 365/Active Directory ·Ability to monitor and manage system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets·Troubleshooting, software installations, software troubleshooting, great communication skills·Strong troubleshooting/ability to think on your feet Selected resources will be commuting a fair amount and must be comfortable with the drives to various locations as needed- will also need reliable transportation. Will be assigned one central office based on necessity and will be able to reimburse commute to other locations.
