Scientific Data Modeler

Location: Trenton, NJ Description: Our client is currently seeking a Scientific Data Modeler Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Modeler in a company with large, complex data sources.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Extensive experience with GitHub.
• Extensive JSON experience. JSON schema specification experience a big plus.
• Experience in Biotech, Pharma or Life Sciences a big plus. Specifically Genomics/Next Generation Sequencing
• Experience using big data technologies and graph theory
• Demonstrated strength in data modeling, development, and data warehousing
• Knowledge of one programming language.
• Preferably Python or Go.
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
• Knowledge of systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
