IT Specialist

Fast growing company seeks 2 IT Specialists to join a collaborative team involved in challenging and exciting work. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high quality support of all end user desktop systems in use across the multiple sites. This involves logging all requests and support issues, high level analysis of the problems to ensure the call is resolved by the best person within the IT team, hyper-care of users at Level I and II.

• Software installation, troubleshooting and support.
• Hardware installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Desktop system administration tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, AD administration.
• Video Conference support
• End user training.
• Local travel to multiple sites

• BS. in Computer Science preferred
• 2-3 years hands on support experience with desktop/laptop hardware, Windows 7 – 10 operating system and standard desktop applications such as Office 365, Active Directory, VPN, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
• Structured approach to problem solving particularly under time constraints
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Experience in biotech industry is desirable
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to interact and support users at all levels within an organization
