The Infrastructure Security Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day compliance security monitoring, testing, and response of Information Technology Services infrastructure health. This role facilitates the reporting and compliance leg work for the customer. Essential Functions:

  • Monitors, tests, reports, or escalates daily infrastructure security configs and events, as measured against established DFARs, CMMC, or security compliance items and industry best practices
  • Follows potential problems as a daily process and escalate where needed including engaging customers or bring in cyber
  • Leverages a wide variety of security tools and protocols to ensure overall infrastructure security is continually measured, while proactively engaging system owners during observed deviations
  • Will serve as duty manager during watch shift, providing incident management to evolving issues across the Information Technology Services team
  • Serves as a contributing member in the on-site ITS Operations Center to become the nerve center of the Information Systems and Services the organization provides customers
  • Thinks critically about the full role of security
  • Turns large amounts of data into actionable, visual intelligence
  • Identifies and builds service and instance hardening process or runbooks
Essential Qualifications:
  • Server-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating system security mechanisms
  • Understanding and experience with monitoring operations
    • Security Alerting
    • Incident Management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure operations and security monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to document technical issues clearly while under stress
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of security monitoring and testing tools
  • Knowledge of IBM Qradar on Cloud SIEM
  • Good interpersonal skills when interfacing with all employees / customers
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
