Skilled only carpenter

We are hiring a skilled only carpenter. Looking for someone with 5 years verifiable experience who has some understanding from the ground up. Not just able to nail things, but who understands why it goes there, kind of guy. Has some understanding of principles, ( water goes down hill, things expand and contract, wood shrinks when it dries out, stuff like that ). If you want to sub, have insurance and a DBA. Payroll is fine, we are legal and pay comp, UIA and time off. We are long established but need the guy we have mentioned, maybe two guys like this, maybe three.
