  • Need is for a person who can code and architect Microsoft solutions and he/she should be an active coder / architect right now. Sombody who has strategic vision and leadership skills.
  • Heavy dev 75% and 25% Admin/PM/IT - the CTO title if just part of this job is maybe 25% - 75% will be hands-on coding / windows updates / server tuning / sql performance / etc. and the coding experience needs to be current.
  • Need to help and guide and do very hands-on support as needed

Examples:
  • Scaling issues
  • Hands-on SQL database tuning
  • Actual code reviews-not pass on to somebody else

JOB OVERVIEW:The newly created hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology, including Application Support, Software Development and Infrastructure.As the CTO, you will be responsible for supervising both the Development teams and IT teams, but also be expected to code.The CTO works closely with our CISO to define Technology Related Information Security initiatives and maintain our Information Security Management Program.Interacting at the partner level, the CTO will work to create a strategic vision for the firm, integrating business acumen with community practices for IT delivery based upon ITIL and Secure Software Development principles. The goal of the CTO is to define and improve our Technology platform and its use year-over-year.A collaborative and engaging professional with strong communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES
  • Expert understanding of Service Delivery principles as defined in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Expert understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLCs).
  • Understanding of Secure Development Lifecycle methodologies, such as BSIMM.
  • Familiarity with Information Security frameworks, including ISO 27001 and 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI, HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, IRS Guidelines and Department of Labor guidelines.
  • Deep understanding of Model View Controller (MVC) software development in Microsoft .Net technologies, in both C# and VB.
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
  • Help departments use technology effectively and to improve profitability.
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs and budgets to assess technological performance and ensure cost effectiveness.
