This position is responsible for performing routine manual labor duties, landscaping and ground maintenance. Some painting, electrical, but plumbing experience a must.

Grounds Maintenance – Knowledge of the techniques, tools, methods, practices, procedures and materials related to grounds maintenance, landscaping, and vegetation control.

Equipment Operation – Knowledge of the proper procedures for operating, inspecting and maintaining assigned equipment.

Safety - Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulations related to equipment operation, hazardous materials, and other work-related precautions.

Manual Labor - Ability to perform heavy manual labor for long periods of time, and in all types of weather conditions.

Time Management – Ability to plan and organize daily work routine. Establishes priorities for the completion of work in accordance with sound time-management methodology.

Communication – Ability to communicate ideas effectively. Ability to listen and understand directions, information and ideas presented verbally and in writing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must be 18 years of age and a US Citizen. A high school diploma is preferred and 1-2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requires medium to heavy work that involves walking, standing, stooping, lifting, digging, pushing and raising objects and involves exerting between 20 to 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis.

The job requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, and depth perception.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: based on experience-$13-15 per hour

Schedule:M-F 9-1pm

4 hour shift

On call

Occasional Weekend availability
