IT Senior Programmer Analyst. Our client would love for you to them onsite in the great location of North Liberty, IA-but if working remotely is your thing, they will welcome you to the family remotely, wherever you are in the U.S. (except CA and Northeast U.S. at this time).

Here is what you will do as an IT Senior Programmer Analyst
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, lead the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of distributed systems, integrations, and real-time data processing solutions in order to meet or exceed various business strategies. The solutions may be achieved by integrating 3rd party applications creating new programs in house, or both.
  • Dedicate time to up-front design and architecture, attempting to reuse existing code when possible
  • Lead peer code reviews and inspections for program optimization, especially on mainframe program development
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of secure coding concepts, and commonly used programming concepts, practices, and procedures with demonstrated practical application of this knowledge
  • Effectively communicate at all levels via technical documentation, emails, meetings, and client updates; a very important skill needed in this role
  • Work alone and/or as part of a team to provide technical support to project team members
  • Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Information Technology Operations Guide
  • Maintain existing application infrastructure to include troubleshooting problems, enhancement possibilities, and ensures high availability of Systems Integration's responsible delivery channels
  • Continuously looks at new ways of introducing process improvement in all aspects of the development life cycle, performance, productivity, efficiencies, and optimization
  • Consistent perform duties with accuracy, output, and production
  • Maintain a high-level degree of formal knowledge and experience in application development
  • Adhere to the core values and service standards in carrying out our client's mission and vision.
  • Play a vital role in enriching the community by participating on an annual basis in community service organizations and/or company sponsored events
  • Perform other duties and follow other policies and procedures deemed appropriate for this role

Here is what you need to be qualified as an IT Senior Programmer Analyst
  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with emphasis on application development; OR completion of a specialized course of study in a related field at a business or trade school; OR completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprentice program in a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building highly scalable and secure web applications
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of API architecture styles
  • Experience working with AWS services

If you have this experience, you are in high demand!
  • Financial Industry experience
  • Experience working with data lakes or data warehouses
  • Demonstrated experience with development tools, code versioning, and program management
