We are seeking an energetic and driven IT Network Manager who will lead a team of network engineers in managing and overseeing the performance of network systems; including security, vendor management, maintenance and support.

Responsibilities:

Network Services Management
  • Oversee and facilitate the network systems / services infrastructure, architecture and technology roadmap to ensure functionality, utilization and performance of all systems.
  • Manage configuration, installation, documentation, maintenance and administration of hardware and software pertaining to Enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, WAN Optimizer,VoIP, Video, Security Hardware, ISE, NAC, IDS/IPS, remote access and Firewalls.
  • Establish maintenance schedules and coordinate these schedules with IT Operations.
  • Plan, design, install, maintain and troubleshoot WAN / LAN logical, physical and security architectures.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate service for Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, Remote Access, WAN Optimizers, and VoIP related hardware.
  • Provide support / troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN, UCCX, Unity Connection, VoIP, SIP, Access control Server, ISE, NAC, IDS/IPS, TACACS, AAA, WebEx, Jabber, Telepresence Video and ASA security devices.
  • Manage suppliers and Managed Service Vendors ensuring maximum performance; service upgrade requirements and contract negotiations.
  • Responsible for Network hardware / software inventory control, maintaining leases, maintenance agreements and controlling cost where applicable.
  • Keep up to date latest operating systems in critical hardware.
  • Utilize and Maintain network device monitoring system.
  • Maintain phone, WebEx, Voicemail, database and user add/changes.
  • Asset management for Network and IT Security equipment.
  • Ensure network services supports operations for 24x7 requirements.

Security and Compliance
  • Assess compliance standards such as DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC.
  • Conduct gap analyses to analyze network services, servers, storage, IoT, cloud infrastructure and security of all systems.
  • Complete site level Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 audits.
  • Implement advanced infrastructure based on CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) to maintain compliance.
  • Perform and document internal Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 audits according to published schedules, policies and procedures.
  • Perform and document Disaster Recovery and Incident Response.

Leadership Management
  • Lead a team of skilled Network Engineers.
  • Provide clear expectations, goals, project plans and performance requirements.
  • Manage KPIs and metrics, reporting to IT Management, Key Stakeholders and Performance Centers as required.
  • Interact regularly with stakeholders and operations leaders to determine their needs and develop plans for improving delivery.
  • Encourage and create opportunities for continuous learning for the IT Network team.
  • Budgeting for year-to-year expenses and projects.

Project Management
  • Manage network systems projects through the project life cycle, including the development of project plans/schedules, scope, budgets, resources, schedule, deliverables, quality and risk.
  • Create and manage a technology roadmap with input from the IT Operations, IT Security and IT Management teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, functional or operation leaders as necessary over the course of the project.
  • Adhere to quality assurance and internal compliance procedures in project implementation.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related technical field.
  • 10+ years experience in network administration.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing remote teams and supporting multiple operations in a midsize to large company.
  • IT Management experience in a manufacturing environment; preferable in the aerospace industry.

Required Licenses / Certifications:
  • Network+ certification or similar certifications required.
  • CISCO CCNA required; CCNP preferred.
  • Security +, CISCO CCNA Security Preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have advanced skills in troubleshooting, configuration, and installation of VMware, Cisco IOS, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Voicemail, Silverpeek, Switching, Routing, IPSec, SSL, Voice & Video over IP, SIP SCCP and industry best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco IOS, routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, Switching, VLAN, VTP Domains, 802.1q, 802.1X, trunking, Cisco CDP, QoS, MPLS, SIP, PRI’s, T1’s, MGoogle Cloud Platform, H.323, POTs and ISDN.
  • Familiarity with the NIST 800-171 Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with SOX Compliance requirements and auditing procedures.
  • Familiarity with network security, continuous monitoring, system auditing, and security policy development.
  • Experience managing distributed networks and data center environments.
  • Familiarity with modern Information Security practices.
  • Competency with industry standard administration tools and methodology.
  • High energy and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Experience managing external vendors and contractors to deliver solutions and high performance.
