Title: Technical Program Manager for Thematic InvestingContract: 1 year (possible extension)Locations: San Francisco, CA/Ann Arbor, MI/Denver, CO/Westlake, TX (Remote during Covid)Start Date: ASAPNo C2C/Corp-to-CorpMust be authorized to work in US without restriction or sponsorship Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders (Product development, Software development teams, UX and enterprise teams) to develop a vision and a roadmap for multiple programs
- Excite the team on the impact of the work and the joys of building great software
- Integrate technical and product vision and objectives into roadmaps
- Execute roadmaps by actively partnering with technology teams, including prioritizing across multiple Agile backlogs as necessary
- Identify areas of risk and methods of mitigation for large, complex projects
- Provide expert insights on where projects are functioning well and where they aren't. Ability to influence others to pivot on those areas of needs.
- Work closely with architects to ensure that architecture vision and design is clearly documented, communicated and integrated into our plans.
- Build processes to ensure tracking and alignment on Key Performance Indicators and Objectives and Key Results.
- Build technical documentation needed for various roles in technology and product teams. Background and skills needed to build both architecture, system analysis and product workflow documents.
- Strong delegation skills to help drive action across product, project and development stakeholders.
- Influence the software development process in an evolving organization. Provide recommendations and insights on our software design, Agile, software development, release management and site reliability processes Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of technical program management experience at a company building enterprise software
- 5+ years managing large complex projects that require cross organization alignment
- Depth of expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including CI/CD, Public Cloud, Test Strategies, Architecture, Design and Implementation.
- Expertise in project planning, including estimating and scheduling in an Agile environment.
- Must be self-starter, extremely detailed and analytical, and have a curious mind that enjoys digging into how things work and continuously strives to enhance the product, workflow and the process.
- Keen eye for recognizing consistent and efficient user experiences and promoting a continuous improvement culture.
- Experience in building partnerships, mobilizing, and motivating teams, influencing others at all levels of an organization, and driving change to effectively deliver on projects in a cross-functional environment
